Two other parishes were founded in the villages of Val Caron and Val Thérèse in 1958 and 1960.  In 1992, the Notre-Dame-de-l'Espérance parish in Val Caron and the Sainte-Thérèse de l'Enfant-Jésus parish amalgamated to create the Sainte-Marguérite d'Youville parish.  The church for the new parish was built in Val Thérèse.
