The Legion of Mary was established at Christ the King Church on December 12, 1939. Legionaries were individuals dedicated to assisting their fellow man through apostolic works. Even today, Legionaries visit shut-ins, hospitals, and people with religious difficulties, serve as sponsors at baptisms, and accompany those who need encouragement to attend masses, sacraments, devotions, and missions. They also assist the parish priest in the performance of spiritual duties.
