Religion has always played a significant role in the development of any community.  Without the guidance of spiritual leaders, many pioneers would have given up faith in their pursuits for a better life and a sense of community would never have been established.

In Coniston, people of many different faiths have found a home in which they can freely practice their chosen religion.  Among the more common of these faiths are the Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Protestant denominations.
