Capreol has long enjoyed sporting events in the community.  Hockey, curling, and skiing have been the most popular winter activities, while in the summer, softball and tennis have fulfilled the desire to stay active.

Throughout the years, Capreol has been fortunate to have a YMCA, a curling club, an athletic field, and its own community centre and arena.

Competitive and non-competitive sports are enjoyed by many of Capreol's residents regardless of the season.
