Parish Developments

In the later half of the 1940's, then minister, Reverend Starkey, orchestrated the development of additional children's organizations.  Later, he utilized the CKSO radio station to broadcast church services to Sudbury.  The largest difficulties faced during this era was the constant shift in personnel working the railway lines in Capreol.  Faces were constantly changing, making it extremely difficult to maintain membership records.

Trinity United Church underwent many renovations to its parish throughout the early 1950's, including the installation of an oil-burning furnace to replace the coal furnace, and renovations to the manse.  During this time, church attendance was on the rise as new minister, Reverend Engel, inspired more people to join the congregation.
